Audi e-tron TT Render is as Smooth as a Pebble

The Audi TT as we know it is at the end of the line. After this generation TT, it’s either going to be killed off entirely or become an all-electric sports car. Audi hasn’t said anything definitively either way, but it has said that the current TT is no longer viable in the marketplace. With that uncertainty, many fans are speculating what the next TT could be and this new render shows off of a potential all-electric Audi e-tron TT could look like. (We don’t own the render but you can see it here)

This rendering certainly is reminiscent of the original Audi TT, with its iconic Bauhaus design language. However, it’s been smoothed over to have an almost pebble-like surface. It’s as if water eroded its sheetmetal over hundreds of years. Still, you can see the family resemblance.

Up front, its piano black grille and T-shaped headlights have a Honda E-like appearance and its delicate side mirrors look like they’re from vintage Japanese sports cars. The grille is a bit odd but the rest off it looks quite good and we can see a future electric Audi TT looking similar.

It’s also cool that this render artist used the original TT as inspiration for the design. While the most recent Audi TT is cool, and the second-generation was great as well, it’s the original that sticks in everyone’s minds.

We don’t know for sure, of course, but we do think that an electric Audi e-tron TT is on the way. Or, at least, we’re hopeful that one is one the way. Electric sports cars are going to be incredibly fun, especially if they come offered with convertible variants, as the TT traditionally has. An all-electric Audi e-tron TT Roadster with around 350 horsepower and all-wheel drive would be absolutely killer, especially if it had cool futuristic styling. So please, Audi, make one.
