The Cape Canaveral region of the Antique Automobile Club of America recently staged its annual Celebration of Cars show outside the American Muscle Car Museum in Melbourne, Florida, with 550 vehicles on display.

Jeff Burgy (aka CobraJeff 1965) reports the show is open to all makes and models, not just classics.

“You will find hot rods, muscle cars, exotic cars, sports cars, and just about any other kind of car you can think of,” he reports.

While the museum is not open to the public, it’s collection includes 50 years of Indianapolis 500 pace cars, some 30 Shelbys and nearly that many Yenko Stingers.

“It is definitely a “Bucket List” venue for any car enthusiast. Because the museum is not open to the public, you cannot just ‘stop in’ to see the collection.   I recommend checking their website: American Muscle Car Museum to watch for an upcoming car club event that will include access to the museum’s main display showroom for a nominal fee.”

The 123,000-square-foot museum, which operates 100 percent on solar power, was established in 2016 by car collector Mark Pieloch and stages fund-raising events for animal welfare and local charities.
