Journal collector car market analyst Andy Reid shares his thoughts on this 1964 Austin-Healey 3000 BJ8 MK III up for auction on AutoHunter, the premier online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com.
The 1964 Austin-Healey received a professional body-off restoration and is powered by a 2.9-liter inline-6 engine connected to a 4-speed manual transmission.
During the restoration, the body was resprayed in Pacific Green paint and fitted with a new cloth top.
The 2+2 interior received new tan leather bucket seats with dark green piping and a glossy wood-grain dash.
Odometer shows just under 5,800 miles but true mileage is unknown.
The Austin-Healey’s auction ends March 30 at 1:00 p.m. PDT.
