Audi TTS Competition Plus Gets More Power and Style

This generation of Audi TT is currently undergoing its farewell tour. Not only is this model about to end its life cycle but the TT model line as a whole may be ending with it. So Audi seems to be giving the TT some extra special edition models, to send it off on a high note. Such as the new Audi TTS Competition Plus model, which adds more power and some sportier styling.

Under the hood, the Audi TTS Competition Plus still uses the same 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine but now makes 235 kW (315 horsepower) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. That engine is still mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch auto that still drives all four wheels via Haldex all-wheel drive. Audi claims 4.5 seconds to 100 km/h (62 mph)for the Coupe and 4.8 seconds for the Roadster.

On the outside, both the coupe and roadster TT Competition Plus models get 20-inch, 10-spoke wheels with a high-gloss black finish, a fixed wing, LED headlights and darkened accents, such as the four-rings Audi logo. Only four exterior color options are available; chronos gray, glacier white, tango red, and turbo blue.

Audi TTS Competition Plus models get Fine Nappa leather interiors with contrast stitching in either red or blue. They also get painted interior trims in either a satin turbo blue or gloss tango red. The latter of which is exclusive to the Coupe, for some reason. All models also get a flat-bottomed steering wheel with a stripe at the 12 o’clock position.

There will also be a Bronze Edition Audi TT and TTS, which comes with bronze accents throughout the interior and exterior of the car, including 20-inch five V-spoke wheels with a bronze finish.

Orders for the Audi TTS Competition Plus models are already available but deliveries won’t start until early 2021. Prices for the Coupe start at EUR 61,000 and EUR 63,700 for the Roadster. However, if you want the Bronze Edition car, you’ll have to wait until Spring 2021 to order one, with deliveries beginning shortly after. Also, add EUR 6,190 to an Audi TT and EUR 4,490 to the TTS for Bronze stuff.
